I am excited serve as your Proud Principal as we step into the "Year of Yet." For the next 180 school days, let’s embrace a mindset that celebrates growth, resilience, and the power of possibility!

Here, “yet” is more than a word—it’s a promise. A promise that every child can and will grow, learn, and thrive. Whether a scholar hasn’t mastered a skill yet, found their voice yet, or discovered their passion yet—we are here to nurture that journey with unwavering belief and support.

At the heart of our mission is literacy—the foundation for all learning. But we also know that learning must be joyful, engaging, and memorable. That’s why we are committed to creating experiences that spark curiosity and expand vocabulary through:

Welcome to Wingate Oaks Center—"A Great Place to Grow, Learn, and Discover!"

I am Chiantae Jones, the proud Assistant Principal. I have the privilege of working alongside an outstanding principal and a dedicated team of educators, speech-language therapists, and non-instructional personnel who are deeply committed to providing high-quality early childhood education for our exceptional learners. At Wingate Oaks Center, we recognize that each child’s journey is unique, and we are intentional in creating nurturing environments that foster communication, independence, and meaningful engagement.

As a transformative leader, I am responsible for both instructional and operational oversight. I support our teachers in implementing the Unique Learning System for our Pre-K Intensive students and the DIG Curriculum for our Pre-K Specialized students. Both programs offer age-appropriate, research-based solutions that enrich the lives of students with unique learning needs and the professionals who support them.

Additionally, I assist our principal with the daily operations of the school, ensuring our students are in a safe and secure environment where they are ready to learn, explore, and grow.

Our focus extends beyond academics—we prioritize the development of the whole child by integrating play-based learning, assistive technology, and individualized supports that foster growth across all developmental domains.
